Rockridge Optometry Providing quality eyecare is our highest objective. Serving the Rockridge area since 1947. Dr. Scott Yokoi joined the practice in 1986.

Providing quality vision care is the number one priority in our office. We have been serving our patients in the Oakland/Rockridge area since 1946 when Dr. Morton Sarver first opened his doors to the community. As we have grown, our office has moved three times along College Avenue, and we have been at our present location for over 35 years. Dr. Morton Sarver was a pioneer and researcher in the co

ntact lens field. He served as the Chief of the Contact Lens Clinic at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and continued to teach until his passing in 1986. He developed a reputation for fitting customized contact lenses to patients who were considered "too hard to fit". Two of his sons, Dr. Donald Sarver and Dr. Larry Sarver, joined the practice in 1971 and 1980. Both have extensive experience teaching at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry Contact Lens Clinic. Our newest associate, Dr. Cindy Sakai, joined Rockridge Optometry in 2007. We take great pride in providing our patients with state-of-the-art eyecare matched with personal attention from our staff and doctors. All of our doctors are members of the American and California Optometric Associations. Our opticians have over 70 years combined experience in the optical field.
