Clinical pearls from the past 10 years

I love my patients! I have come to realize the real healing is being a container. I offer my patients unconditional love and a listening ear and here is what I’ve learned:

-pain is never just physical
-when someone is in pain, often resourcing the body can be enough
-our body’s injury or illness is a communication from the body
-our feelings are a communication from the body
-don’t rush to fix and allow for the feelings that come, holding space is enough
-everyone struggles with self-doubt* but it’s how we self talk with gentleness and compassion that matters!
*those messages often come from our culture, so my favorite way to combat them is a simple phrase,
“Its the culture babe!”

Sunday Sound Healing and Acupuncture

When the world feels like too much, the best place is where you feel held by healers and community. After a 5-year hiatus, we are bringing back our Sunday nervous system reset!

Bring a thick yoga mat, blankets, and pillows to make yourself a cozy nest and be transported by a minimal needle treatment and the deep resonance of sound healing.

We created this event to be a place of deep rest. Our lives are filled with Yang: work, moving, exercise, talking, socializing, etc. But Yin is less abundant in our day to day, aside from sleep. Yin nature, or quietude, rest, solidity, the Earth, are deeply restorative and where deep healing takes place. Connect to your own Yin with this curated experience to allow your body to sink deeply into rest.

Our very own Carla Renee (https://www.soulunasoundhealing.com/) will be your Sound Healer! She is a 200-hour certified sound healing practitioner. She uses her musical training as a vocalist and musician, and her intuition as a psychic/medium to create a beautiful container filled with love and light that facilitates comfort, ease, and your healing needs.

I want to share the biggest lesson I have learned around anger. This week I got an incendiary email and flew into a RAGE, ready to lash out with the full ferocity and fierceness of my tiger nature! I raged (see above) but did not take action. After wise counsel from my trusted inner circle, I realized to resolve this issue required neither ¡Scathing email! ¡Legal action! but instead an apology. I knew the exact moment that I knew this person was not someone I wanted in my life, and ignored my inner knowing, and instead made a contract with them. I have learned many hard lessons in this life. The hardest lesson was that I needed to apologize to myself for ignoring what I already knew to be true.

So I dreamed up a virtual course to support our RAGE. I hope you will join me in this juicy workshop committing to always listen to our inner voice, our inner child, our intuition, our inner knowing, on Saturday February 17th 10:30am-5:30pm. ✨🦋💕

Culture is punitive, we are punished in school with detention for acting out. We punish ourselves with self talk that is very critical in an effort to inspire ourselves? But what inspires change is compassion and gentleness.
