Couldn’t decide if I wanted to share the flowers for the (exquisitely named and birthed) new baby or the amazing advocacy art by and then I realised the colors were perfect together so here you go. Advocacy can be so simple and powerful. Birth can be so simple too, or sometimes complicated or frustrating or hard. But always, always powerful. ✨

The golden hour is yours. Yours for settling, replenishing, soaking in. Yours for quiet snuffles and snuggling and resetting. My clients set beautiful, thoughtful intentions for their labor and postpartum space - and this is how you protect and hold those precious minutes and hours right after birth.

… doesn’t it speak so beautifully to the power and commitment of birth? My amazing client was this poem come to life… every pause, every trial, every wall hit - instead of weakening she strengthened. Instead of throwing in the towel she became more determined. What a journey birth takes us on, and what ability we have to turn ourselves over to the mystery and challenge of it all.
