Alpha Care provides daily activities that include, but are not limited to; community cleanup, gardening, music, movies, and crafts, socializing with friends, exercising, cultural trips and independent living skills. Our activities are always educational and stimulate self- awareness, encourage socialization while providing the physical, rehabilitative, and social services that improve an individual’s level of independence. Our activities are chosen by the individuals, they share their interests and make suggestions and we make it happen!

Monday was all about teamwork and tasty treats! 🐶🐾 The gang worked together to make homemade dog treats, practicing teamwork, following directions, and building their kitchen skills along the way. Everyone had a paws-itively great time! 🦴❤️

🏍️ A Day of Adventure, Teamwork, and Cooking! 🍲

Our Sports Club had a fun-filled day with something for everyone! One group enjoyed checking out ATVs and motorcycles before stopping at Wendy’s for lunch. Meanwhile, back at the center, the rest of the group put their culinary skills to the test by preparing a delicious pot of chili and homemade cornbread.

From exploring new interests to building valuable life skills, everyone enjoyed a day filled with learning, teamwork, and great food! ❤️

🎃👻 The whole gang headed to the Carlisle Halloween Trail and got some steps in on a beautiful Wednesday! 🍂🚶‍♀️ We enjoyed the fresh air, got moving, and had a spooktacular time together! 🧡🍁

We started off the week with a fun and productive day! 🛍️💵 One group headed out for a shopping trip to practice counting money and build everyday life skills, followed by a tasty lunch at Wendy’s! 🍔🍟 Meanwhile, the rest of the group got creative and worked on decorating their room doors for the upcoming Halloween Door Contest! 🎃👻 Everyone had a great time learning, creating, and getting into the Halloween spirit! 🧡

Hustle meets heART this week! 💼🎨🎾

We are halfway through the week and balancing career goals with sunshine on the pickleball court. But the real highlight? Unleashing our creative side today to independently plan and execute our own acrylic masterpieces.

There is something so satisfying about stepping away from the resume grind and letting your imagination take over on canvas. Proof that balance is all about making space for both ambition and art.

What a whirlwind of a week! 🦁🐘🐒
We wrapped up our busy schedule with our much-anticipated annual zoo trip, and it did not disappoint.
Walking miles and miles was totally worth it to see the look on everyone's faces when we checked out the elephants, giraffes, flamingos and even the giant python🐍 .
So exhausted, but my heart (and camera roll) is full! Who else loves checking out the zoo every year? 🦒

We had a wonderful Friday! 🎉 We spent our mid-morning playing one of our favorite games, getting in some great arm exercise while having lots of fun! We enjoyed mashed potatoes and green beans with lunch, followed by delicious birthday cupcakes brought in to celebrate a friend’s special day! 🧁🎂 What a fun way to end the week! ❤️

We had such a blast celebrating babies today! 👶💙 This morning, we enjoyed a baby lesson where everyone got to learn and discuss the do’s and don’ts of caring for babies. We then enjoyed a delicious lunch of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and the cupcakes we worked so hard to make yesterday! 🧁

This afternoon, we showered our Program Coordinator with so many sweet gifts for her and baby—from beautiful homemade blankets, baby toys, necessities, and adorable clothes to baby’s first alphabet book that everyone helped color! It was so special!!📚🍼

We ended the afternoon with some dancing, lots of smiles, and plenty of fun! It was such a wonderful day filled with love, laughter, and excitement for the little one on the way! 💙👶✨

🧁 We had so much fun learning how to bake cupcakes today! Everyone got hands-on practice measuring ingredients, following the recipe, and creating a sweet treat to enjoy! 👩‍🍳💗

We had a fun-filled day at Alpha Care! 🎃👻 We got creative with some Halloween crafts and enjoyed a fun outing to McDonald’s for coffee, conversation, and time spent connecting with friends! ☕️🧡
