Motherhood can be beautiful—and it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, lonely, and completely different from what you expected. You can love your baby deeply and still struggle with the changes that come with becoming a mom.
Our Postpartum Moms Therapy Group offers a supportive, judgment-free space to connect with other mothers who understand the realities of life after having a baby. Led by a mental health professional, the group provides opportunities to talk openly about the emotional challenges of postpartum life, learn practical coping skills, and feel a little less alone in the process.
Topics may include:
• Adjusting to motherhood and changes in identity
• Postpartum anxiety, worry, and feeling constantly "on"
• Sadness, irritability, guilt, and emotional overwhelm
• Sleep deprivation and exhaustion
• Mom guilt and the pressure to "do everything right"
• Bonding and attachment
• Body image and changes after pregnancy
• Changes in relationships, intimacy, and marriage
• Setting boundaries with family and others
• Asking for and accepting help
• Balancing motherhood, work, relationships, and personal needs
• Coping with comparison and social media
• Building confidence and trusting yourself as a mother
• Finding yourself again while embracing your new role
You don't have to pretend that everything is perfect just because you're grateful for your baby. Both things can be true—you can love motherhood and still find it incredibly hard.
Come as you are. Share as much or as little as you're comfortable sharing. Connect with other moms, learn tools that can help, and have a space where someone is taking care of you, too.
Because moms need support, too.
