One of our families has a unique, kind of an emergency situation with some additional needs. We are asking for help to supply them with a toddler bed for a girl with the mattress and sheets. I know they will have some other needs but we do not yet know what that all looks like.

The story below shares a huge testament of how support and information can change someone's life. This brave mom lives in California and is speaking out about how learning she had a choice to change her mind after she started the abortion process, changed her life. She was able to reverse the abortion pill and save her baby who is now 2 years old.

California is trying to take this option away, removing a mother's "choice". Patterns have shown Illinois has often times followed in pursuit of California and this fight has recently been one seen in New York also.

Please continue to pray for our state and our nation. In the meantime, we want to continue to share factual information surrounding pregnancy, parenting, and the gospel. In reading this story, please see that there is a pill that is easily purchased and shipped to a person's door that is meant to terminate a pregnancy but there is also a reversal process available if and when someone changes their mind. Just like this young woman's story, at first it may seem the only option but situations can change quickly and what once was impossible to change, now is possible. 🙏

We are working on our annual yard sale scheduled for next Saturday, May 9 8am-1pm. We are looking for some helpers who can lift items, set up and tear down tables, and help with the physical work of setting up and tearing down. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are missing a few of our regular workers for this event.

We plan to start setting up at 6am Saturday morning and will start packing everything up at 1pm that day. If you can help even for a short time, we would really appreciate it! Our main need right now is help to set up 6-8am.

We had an AWESOME turnout of helpers today! We are so grateful to 4Cs Church for allowing us to use their facility and the ladies of First Christian Church in Oblong - Shirley and Becky, Janie Mann Piersall, Shirley Knight, and Clarisse Day for all your hard work today!

Thanks to each of you, we were able to get more than we thought done today. Our storage is greatly more organized for better efficiency to help our families at the center and we have a nice supply of baby and household items now to bless other families in our community through our Yard Sale May 9th.

We failed to take any photos today as our crew went right to work but the before and after, there would be no comparison!

Thank you ALL and may God bless each one of you for the work your hands have done and continue to do in service to Him. 🙏

We have outgrown our storage space (praise God🙌) and must downsize. We will be organizing and minimizing our boutique inventory and setting aside some items for our yard sale on May 9th. This workday is intended to complete this task, and we require additional support, particularly with lifting and moving heavy objects, as some of us have limited capabilities.

🛑URGENT PRAYER REQUEST🛑

Senate Bill 1564, which mandates that all pregnancy centers refer for abortion (something Choices will NEVER do) was signed into law by Governor Bruce Rauner in July 2016. Pregnancy Centers quickly took legal action, and were able to get an injunction stopping the law from being enforced while they fought to get this law struck down. The next step in the lawsuit against the State of Illinois and Senate Bill 1564 happens on April 10, at a courthouse in Chicago.

A hearing between the legal team and the Illinois attorney general’s office will determine the direction of our case—striking down SB 1564’s abortion referral requirement or a possible appeal to the United States Supreme Court.

The time to pray is NOW!

➡️ Pray for wisdom and protection over our legal team.
➡️ Pray for the mission of pregnancy centers across Illinois to continue undeterred for decades to come.
