In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our AdventHealth Ocala Emergency Department team is joining Marion County Fire Rescue in supporting their mission of “Fighting for a Cure.”

Every Friday this October, our team members are wearing pink to show support for those impacted by breast cancer and the loved ones standing beside them. Together, we're raising awareness and reminding our community that no one has to face breast cancer alone.

For patients and families visiting AdventHealth Ocala, the hospital’s newly transformed entrance is designed to create a peaceful environment from the moment they arrive.

Hospital and community leaders recently dedicated the Frank and Angela DeLuca Plaza, featuring a new fountain and landscaping along U.S. Highway 441.

AdventHealth Ocala also unveiled a sculpture near Palmer Lobby depicting Jesus seated with children, offering a reminder of faith, compassion, and the hospital’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.

Together, these spaces reflect a commitment to helping patients and families feel welcomed, supported, and cared for throughout their journey.

A summer can shape a future.

This summer, 60 Lake County high school students stepped into hospital life through AdventHealth Waterman’s Teen Summer Volunteer Program, serving patients and discovering more about where their own paths might lead.

For some, it confirmed a future in health care. For others, it simply meant growing confidence, finding purpose and learning the power of showing up for someone else.

Nine weeks. 60 students. A lot of possibilities.
