We were honored to welcome author Joseph F. Walters to The Shores for a special book signing of Strength in Numbers, the inspiring story of his father, Joseph Walters — a beloved resident of our community.

Through stories of war, devastating injury, perseverance, and triumph, Strength in Numbers paints a vivid portrait of a man who overcame extraordinary challenges to become a Judo champion, devoted husband and father, and, above all, his son's greatest hero.

After the presentation, residents and teammates had the opportunity to have books personally signed and hear stories from family members who proudly reflected on a life that continues to inspire. ❤️
