The Grays Harbor Open Studio Tour is almost here.

This Saturday and Sunday, Driftwood Studio will be open as part of the tour, and visitors are invited to come explore the space.

If you've ever been curious about mosaic art, chainmaille, leatherwork, or the process of creating handmade pieces, this is a wonderful opportunity to see where the work happens and ask questions along the way.

One of my favorite things about events like this is the opportunity to connect with people and share the creative process, not just the finished work.

I look forward to welcoming visitors into the studio this weekend.

I'm looking forward to participating in the Grays Harbor Open House Studio Tour (GHOST) on June 20th and 21st.

Driftwood Studio will be participating in the Art Walk on June 20th and 21st.

For those who haven't visited before, Driftwood Studio is a classroom and makers space where I work with chainmaille, non-ferrous metals, glass mosaics, and leather to create custom jewelry and wall art.

Throughout the Art Walk, visitors are welcome to tour the studio, view current projects, and learn more about the materials and techniques used in my work.

Whether you're interested in art, craftsmanship, or simply enjoy seeing how things are made, I would be happy to show you around.

So many of us carry stress in our bodies without even realizing it. 🌿

Tight shoulders.
Jaw tension.
Back pain.
That constant feeling of being “on.”

One of the things I love about the work I do is helping people slow down enough to notice what their body has been trying to say.

My massage work incorporates elements of the Feldenkrais Method, which focuses on gentle awareness, movement, and helping the body find more natural patterns of ease and balance.

It’s a slower, more mindful approach — and many people leave feeling not only more relaxed, but more connected to themselves overall.

So many people think pain means they need to push harder, stretch harder, or “fix” themselves immediately.

But sometimes the body responds best to gentleness, awareness, and finally feeling safe enough to let go. 🌿

Feldenkrais work is less about forcing change and more about helping the body remember easier ways to move, rest, and exist.

Healing doesn’t always have to happen through intensity.

My approach is a little different than what you might expect from a typical massage.

Along with hands-on bodywork, I incorporate elements of the Feldenkrais Method — a gentle, awareness-based approach that helps your body relearn more natural and efficient ways of moving.

Instead of only focusing on tight muscles, I look at how your whole body is working together.

This can help with:
