This week we shine our spotlight on Mrs. Marie. Ms. Marie has been a nurse for 44 years and five of those years she has dedicated to Sunplex. Mrs. Marie has been married for 30 years. She has two sons, one grandchild, two great grandson and several pets.
Unknown fact: when Mrs. Marie was a child her neighbor had a baby and when her family went to the hospital to see the baby a lady with white stockings told her she was too young to go in. From that day forward she wanted to wear those white stockings. This is how she became a nurse and lead her to a 44 year career in nursing.
Mrs. Marie is always going above and beyond to help our residents. Some of her favorite foods are Seafood, Mexican and Chinese. She loves gardening, spending time with her cats, dogs and country living.
Mrs. Marie would like to leave you all with this advice. “You will never know until you try it, you have to give it a chance.” COVID brought her to Sunplex and we are glad to have her. Everyone please congratulate Mrs. Marie as we shine our light on her and her dedication to our residents.

• Haircuts
• Shampoo & styling
