New Wave Internal Medicine is very excited to announce the addition of
Danielle Bersabe, MD!!

Dr. Danielle Bersabe is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and completed residency in 2015 at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) while serving in the United States Air Force. She continued her service as a primary care physician and hospitalist at SAUSHEC and was involved in teaching in the residency program. She completed two tours in Afghanistan during her Air Force Service. She has practiced in the Gulf Coast region since leaving the Air Force, and additionally, her family was transferred to Keesler AFB in 2019. Dr. Bersabe is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and board certified in Internal Medicine. She is also certified in obesity medicine through the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Bersabe has a special interest in wellness, lifestyle medicine and weight management. While away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

October is BREAST CANCER AWARENESS month. Many of you know that I was diagnosed with breast cancer November. 2020. I had ZERO symptoms. This was found on a routine mammogram!! I had a NORMAL mammogram in 2019.

If you have not had your screening mammogram, please call us (or someone) today for an order!! It can absolutely save your life!!

We here at New Wave Internal Medicine are hoping you are all enjoying your time at home! Please know that though we are not able to see patients in person, we are really in the office to fulfill your needs as best we can. We are able to speak to you on the phone and do a “tele” visit, send medication prescriptions to your pharmacy, and of course send in refills. We are hoping this is all over soon, but in the meantime, if your having any problems, call us at 228-875-6695!
