Why I Love My Job

I’ve come to realize how deeply connected the act of listening and caring is, no matter the setting. In a single session, I have the privilege of meeting someone’s heart, hearing their fears, and telling them, “I’m so grateful you’re here.” I get to see them for who they truly are—and appreciate them for it.

After each conversation, I walk away not just understanding others, but learning something about myself. As Carl Whitaker said, this work has a way of changing you, too.

And that’s why I love what I do.

Good news! I am now an in-network provider with Aetna and Select Health for walk-and-talk therapy sessions. If you or someone you know could benefit from therapy in a more relaxed, outdoor setting, now is the perfect time to start. DM or send me an email to learn more!

Hello! I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.
I’m Tanner Taggart, born and raised in Morgan, Utah. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. After spending several years in inpatient treatment, working with teens, I’m excited to share that I am now focusing on outpatient therapy, which means I have more time available to help people one-on-one.

If you or someone you know is struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges, I’d love to help. I offer in-office sessions, Telehealth, and my personal favorite—walk-and-talk therapy.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more or schedule an appointment!
