I’m excited to share that I’ve officially earned my Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credential! 🎉
Research has shown that untreated hearing loss is linked to an increased risk of cognitive decline and dementia, so understanding dementia care is important to me to help provide better support to our patients and their families.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing so I can provide the best care possible here at OBH 💙👂

Another year at the Florida Hearing Society Convention!
This year included me getting fingerprinted ✋🏼as part of the new requirement (see pic below) for renewing our Hearing Aid Specialist licenses. Between continuing education, networking, and staying current with licensing requirements, it’s been a great convention! 🦻

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

In observance of Independence Day, Okeechobee’s Best Hearing will be closed on Friday, July 3, and will reopen during our regular business hours on Monday.

As we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s independence, we’d like to thank our patients and the Okeechobee community for your continued trust and support. We are truly grateful to be a part of this wonderful community.

What an amazing experience touring the Starkey factory in Minnesota last week. I got to see firsthand how hearing aids are designed, built, and tested which gave me an even greater appreciation for the technology that helps our patients hear their best every day.
