Spoiler alert, it’s the floor 🙃

There are a MILLION “baby containers” out there- standers, bouncers, sit me ups, swings, loungers, jumpers. Don’t get me started, I could do a ton of posts on these 🙊

Free the babies. Put them in the floor. This gives them the most unrestricted opportunity to move and explore their little bodies and environment!

PS- no guilt at ALL for using containers. I’m a mom, I get it! Just try to limit the use to 15 minutes at a time. Then put that babe in the floor.

This sweet girl’s mama followed her instincts and reached out to get a PT’s opinion. She then incorporated specific stretches, strengthening, and positioning into their daily routine and playtime- Look at the difference it made in only THREE WEEKS!

I’m passionate about wellness and preventive care, which could even just be taking a minute to yourself to get in some stretching!

I love when stretches/mobility moves address more than one area- more bang for your buck!
Give them a try and let me know whatcha think 🤩

↪️ Start in a butterfly position with your back straight. Hinge forward at the hips and use your elbows to gently push your knees down, feeling a stretch in your inner thighs and relaxing your pelvic floor on inhales.

↪️ Add in an upper trap stretch! Bring one ear down to your shoulder, gently drawing the opposite shoulder down.

↪️ Keeping that opposite shoulder down, bring your nose down towards your shoulder.

↪️ This last one gives you a great pec stretch, some thoracic and lumbar rotation (much needed postpartum 🙌🏼), and even a glute stretch. *wouldn’t recommend this in second or third trimester but let’s chat about modifications!
