Mars Bodywork

This summer Mars Bodywork turned ✨4✨

Wow, four years already! I have learned so much yet in many ways every day feels brand new as far as learning and growing. When I think of the energy the number four brings I think of that foundational energy that holds up all things like the roots of a tree or a strong foundation. I am reevaluating and fine tuning the key things in running a practice and viewing discipline as a ritual of self love. This year I am staying present, grounded, and moving with intention in every little step I take moving forward. I say this a lot but I could not do this without the support of my community, looking forward to what’s in store 🌱

Did you know I have a waitlist for massage therapy appointments? The link can be found when you go to book! This fall I will be going on vacation and my availability has been limited. I have had so many reach out about booking and adding your name to the list is the fastest way to get notified of an opening! I am blessed to be able to take off and I appreciate everyone being flexible with me. Looking forward to one of my favorite seasons 🍂

Getting a massage before or after (or both😉)a summer vacation is one of my favorite ways to take care of myself. Having relief from tension and pain helps to manage added stress.

Cupping is optional and included with the price of a massage. It uses gentle suction to improve local circulation, release tight fascia, and relieve deep muscle tension. If you'd like to try it out it is a great addition to a therapeutic massage.

There is something deeply restorative about the warmth of hot stones melting away stress and tension from the body. ✨

Hot stone massage helps increase circulation, relax tight muscles, calm the nervous system, and encourage the body to fully unwind. The soothing heat allows for deeper muscle relief while creating a grounding, comforting experience for both body and mind.

Perfect for stress relief, chronic tension, fatigue, or simply taking time to slow down and care for yourself. I have 60min and 90min sessions now available on my website.

Memory issues in CPTSD aren't limited to past pain. Trauma can do a serious number on our ability to organize, retain, & recall information, no matter how smart we are— so much so that CPTSD can mimic or exacerbate cognitive issues like ADHD, dementia, or TBI.
