For more than 80 years, the Woodward Elks Rodeo Committee has done far more than host one of America’s great rodeos. Quietly and consistently, they have supported their community, backed local youth, funded important charitable causes, and stood beside families facing life’s hardest challenges.
I’ve had the privilege of being part of “The Toughest ’Em All” since 1993, and each year I’m reminded that this event is about so much more than bucking horses and elite competition. At its heart, it’s about people, about neighbors helping neighbors and service that makes a real difference.
This year, our TPT Rodeo Sports Medicine Team, Kevin Taylor, PT, ATC; Dain Foster, ATC; Hunter Richardson, DPT; Josh Wilson, ATC; and McKenzie Goldan, ATC, is once again honored to serve alongside this outstanding committee. We’ll be providing medical coverage for the athletes from the opening Breakaway on Sunday morning through the final performance Saturday night.
We are especially proud to stand with this year’s Golden Circle of Champions honoree, 12-year-old Analilia Rocha. Analilia has shown remarkable courage, resilience, and faith throughout her battle with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. Her strength is a powerful reminder of what true toughness really looks like.
We want to thank the Woodward Elks Rodeo Committee, the Golden Circle of Champions, Newman Memorial Hospital, the many volunteers, sponsors, contestants, and fans who continue to make such a positive impact in the lives of others.
The Toughest ’Em All isn’t just a rodeo. It’s a community coming together to celebrate courage, perseverance, and hope.
