Injury Prevention Service Overview presented

Mr. Kenner Wignall, MPH, CPH
The presentation provides an overview of the Oklahoma State Department of Health's Injury Prevention Service and its efforts to reduce injury-related deaths and hospitalizations across the state. Participants will learn about key injury prevention priorities, current programs and partnerships, available resources, and opportunities for the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps to support injury prevention initiatives in their communities.
Kenner Wignall is the Unintentional Injury Prevention Project Coordinator for the Injury Prevention Service at the Oklahoma State Department of Health, where he advances partnerships and leads injury prevention initiatives focused on falls prevention violence prevention, motor vehicle safety and crash prevention, and seasonal injuries. He holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Oklahoma, a Certificate in Public Health, and is committed to helping all individuals live free from injury and violence.
