💙 Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is take the first step forward.
When a child is first diagnosed with autism, families often find themselves overwhelmed. Questions pile up. Emotions run high. The path ahead can feel uncertain.
That's why we're so grateful to have Jamie as the first person many families meet when they call Mirabelle Care.
Long before she became our Intake Coordinator, Jamie was a mom standing in those same shoes. In her incredible story shared by Autism Oklahoma, she describes the moment she almost couldn't step off the elevator to attend her very first autism parent support group. One kind conversation gave her the courage to take that next step—and it changed her family's journey forever.
Today, Jamie is that encouraging voice for other families.
Every day, she helps parents navigate appointments, insurance questions, evaluations, and all the emotions that come with a new diagnosis. More importantly, she reminds families that they don't have to walk this journey alone.
At Mirabelle Care, we believe that every journey starts with one step forward. Sometimes that step is making the first phone call. Sometimes it's scheduling an evaluation. Sometimes it's simply knowing someone on the other end of the line truly understands what you're feeling.
