Moms, this one is for you. 💚
You pour the cereal, find the missing shoe, pack the bags, sign the form, answer 47 questions before your coffee is even warm… and somewhere in the middle of taking care of everyone else, you realize you forgot to eat breakfast. Again. 😅
Moms are so often the steady place for the entire family. You’re anticipating needs, managing schedules, regulating emotions, remembering the things no one else remembers, and carrying a mental load that rarely gets turned off.
But somewhere along the way, taking care of yourself can start feeling optional.
It isn’t.
Your nervous system is working around the clock, too. And when you’re constantly depleted, overstimulated, or running on adrenaline, it becomes harder to keep pouring from a cup that never gets refilled.
Caring for yourself doesn’t have to mean a spa day or completely changing your life. Sometimes it looks like drinking the water. Eating the actual meal. Sitting down for five quiet minutes. Going to bed earlier. And yes, keeping your own chiropractic appointment instead of only scheduling everyone else’s. 😉
You spend so much of your life making sure everyone you love is cared for.
You belong on that list, too. 🤍
Not just because taking care of yourself helps you show up for your family, but because you are worthy of being cared for simply because you’re you.
