Feeding Hope Durant OK raised $2,350 by advocating for blood donation. They do more for their community than just fighting hunger insecurity; they have cooling stations, showers, laundry, cots for napping and they serve hundreds of community members and families every day. They recently purchased some land and are raising money to break ground to create a new shared living space for unhoused individuals.

🥹Diamond Dawgs told us that the money raised through Donable® Cares has helped to cover tournament entry fees, practice and facility expenses, and team equipment—overall, keeping participation affordable for their families. By recruiting donors through their link, they’ve raised almost $3,000 and have helped Our Blood Institute bring in 6 brand new donors, plus 5 donors who hadn’t donated in a couple years.

National Nonprofit Day—Here’s what it can look like when we work together: Dearing House Child Advocacy raised $4,000 through one of their Donable Cares blood drives last year. Those funds were the spark that allowed them to start construction on Dottie’s Place. When presenting a check for a blood drive this year, we were able to see how things were going. This second building doubles their capacity and will hopefully allow them to provide counseling services on site to children who need them.
