Congratulations to Mona Zantout! She is the most recent Saints Spark Award recipient for the SSM Health Medical Group. Mona is an office assistant at SSM Health Neurosciences in Midtown OKC.

Often referred to as the "Director of First Impressions," one of her co-workers stated this: "As the primary 'check in' receptionist in this busy department, Mona greets each and every person with a smile and generally warm greeting. She has a compliment or sweet comment for each patient and family with whom she interacts."

Today we are grateful to be lifted in prayer by the monks of St. Gregory's Abbey, Shawnee, Oklahoma as part of their 150th anniversary celebration. 🙏

They are dedicating one day this year to each Catholic health ministry in Oklahoma. Our Medical Group will be lifted up in prayer on Sunday, June 14. We are honored to serve Oklahomans through compassionate, faith-based care -and thankful for the spiritual support behind our mission.

Shijy will provide care for Oklahomans at the SSM Health St. Anthony Healthplex El Reno located on the northeast corner of I-40 and State Highway 81 on Territory Lane in El Reno. She is fluent in three languages, including English, Malayalam and Hindi.

✨ New Public Art Brings Joy to Midtown OKC ✨

A vibrant new public art installation is bringing a sense of joy, connection and community to our Midtown Oklahoma City neighborhood! A ceremony was held last week to celebrate the installation and what it brings to Midtown.

Titled “Light & Airy,” the illuminated sculpture is now featured at the 10th and Walker roundabout. Created by artist Sander Henriksen and the creative team at Heavy, the whimsical piece—designed to resemble a layered slice of cake—celebrates hospitality, shared experiences and the everyday moments that make Midtown special.

Funded through a collaborative effort to enhance the Midtown 10th Street corridor, the installation reflects a shared commitment to investing not only in health care, but also in the overall vibrancy and well-being of the community.

Located at a busy intersection near the hospital, “Light & Airy” captures the spirit of the neighborhood—from neighbors visiting local shops to patients, families and caregivers experiencing moments of healing and resilience. Its playful design offers a sense of lightness and delight, serving as a visual reminder of the connection and comfort found in shared spaces.

This incredible group includes 193 dedicated teens—100 joining us for the very first time (pictured below!) and 93 returning to serve for another summer.

Their compassion, energy, and commitment make a meaningful difference for our patients, caregivers, and community every single day. We are so grateful for their service and their support of our Mission. Please join us in giving them a warm Saints welcome! 👏

SSM Health Oklahoma leaders extend their heartfelt congratulations to Governor Bill Anoatubby on his retirement. His visionary leadership has made a lasting impact not only on The Chickasaw Nation, but on citizens in communities across Oklahoma through significant investments in healthcare, education, nonprofit initiatives, and expansive economic development.

For more than 20 years, The Chickasaw Nation has been a valued partner of SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. Their support has been instrumental in the restoration of our Behavioral Health Center, investment in the Saints Vision Campaign, and their commitment to assisting St. Anthony Hospital during our decision to remain in downtown Oklahoma City. Their contributions have also supported the Frank C. Love Cancer Institute, our annual Saints Ball fundraiser, and recently a generous $1 million gift for the Love Family Entrance honoring Tom Love and his Chickasaw Heritage.

The Chickasaw Nation has been an extraordinary philanthropic partner and a steadfast supporter of healthcare initiatives across our state. We are deeply grateful for Governor Anoatubby’s leadership and lasting impact and wish him all the best in his retirement.
