Oklahoma Heart Hospital Awarded 2026 Outstanding Patient Experience honors from Healthgrades, a Nationally Recognized Health Rating Company.

Oklahoma Heart Hospital has achieved the 2026 Outstanding Patient Experience excellence award from nationally recognized HEALTHGRADES for delivering top-quality care and ensuring a positive patient experience. This year’s list of recipients represents the top 15 percent of hospitals nationwide. For the 7th consecutive year, Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) has the distinction of being listed in the top 5 percent of hospitals across America. Digging into the data, OHH received the coveted 5-Star rating from Healthgrades for its abdominal aortic aneurysm repair program.

The award recognizes hospitals and programs that prioritize high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure that patients feel heard, empowered, and confident in their care. Healthgrades is a premier online platform and resource that helps consumers research, select, and evaluate U.S. doctors, hospitals, and healthcare providers.

To earn the award, OHH was evaluated via a 29-question national survey to determine its standing in 10 key areas, including communication with doctors, communication with nurses, responsiveness of hospital staff, communications about medications, discharge information, care transition, cleanliness, quietness, and recommendations from families and friends.

Earlier this year, NEWSWEEK named OHH as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Specialized Care for 2026 and one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women.

Oklahoma Heart Hospital North has been selected as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Specialized Care in 2026 under the category of cardiac care by the prestigious publication, NEWSWEEK. The list recognizes excellence in advanced medical practice, distinguishing 1,375 leading hospitals across the country in seven specialties: cardiac care, cancer care, endocrine care, neurological care, orthopedic care, pulmonary care, and gastrointestinal care. Oklahoma Heart Hospital is the only Oklahoma hospital in the ranking for cardiac care. The list features such notable hospitals as the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and Cleveland Clinic.
