On Friday at the 2026 annual ASCRS meeting, our founder, Steven R. Sarkisian, Jr., MD, delivered the Stephen A. Obstbaum Honored Lecture, and it was everything you would expect from someone who has been at the forefront of advancing MIGS.

“Velocity: My MIGS Manifesto” captured the passion, purpose, and persistence behind the movement in the fight for MIGS and the push for meaningful change in the glaucoma space.

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of his mission and to continue working toward shifting both hearts and minds in how we care for glaucoma patients.

Glaucoma care comes in all sizes!

Recently treated a patient who is 6’6” using the Alcon Voyager™ DSLT platform and it was a great reminder of how much ergonomics matter.

With the DSLT design, we’re not limited by traditional slit lamp positioning, which makes treating taller and shorter patients (and saving the surgeon’s back!) a lot more comfortable.
