What’s my motivation? This.

Ethos is a locally owned small business, but to our family, it’s also something our girls have watched being built from the ground up.

They watched their dad take the parts of healthcare he believed could be done differently, start building them at home, and eventually open the doors to our community.

They’ve seen the parts people don’t always see. The long days. The risk. The sacrifice. The problem solving. The doubt and the decision to keep going anyway.

I hope somewhere along the way they’re learning that building something you believe in takes more than a good idea. It takes dedication, resilience and a reason bigger than yourself.

So what exactly is contrast therapy?

Contrast therapy is the intentional alternation between heat and cold, typically moving from an infrared sauna into a cold plunge.

Heat promotes vasodilation and increases circulation, while cold causes vasoconstriction and triggers a different physiological response. Alternating between the two creates a powerful stress-and-recovery cycle that may support circulation, recovery, inflammation management, mood and resilience to stress.

At Ethos, you can make the experience your own. Choose your sauna temperature, your cold plunge temperature and how long you stay in each. Start where you are and build from there.

No experience required. You don’t have to be the person jumping into 40° water on day one.
