Feeding therapy can look like fun activities and yummy creations โ like making fruit kabobs! ๐๐๐
While we play, create, and explore foods together, so many important skills are being targeted. Feeding therapy with a speech-language pathologist can support oral motor skills, chewing patterns, sensory exploration, food tolerance, self-feeding skills, and expanding a childโs food repertoire in a positive, low-pressure environment. It also helps build confidence and reduce stress around mealtimes for both children and families. ๐
Every small step โ touching, smelling, tasting, or trying a new food โ is meaningful progress worth celebrating! ๐
