Welp.

It happened.

I made one too many mistakes in an email. Or canva. Or newsletter. Or treatment plan. Or spreadsheet. Or....

Or did I?

Because every mistake taught me something. Sometimes it meant listening to co-workers and adjusting the original plan slightly Or greatly. Sometimes it meant realizing I was typing too fast, producing complete gibberish, and needed to slow down and start again. Other times, it meant raising the bar because my first attempt wasn't ambitious enough.

Whatever it was, seeing the Delete button come off first from the keyboard is never a surprise. I'm a fan of Re-writes. Re-thinks. Re-Dos.

If you want to join a team that encourages learning through the mistakes, refining your process or deleting what no longer works for you - We would love to have you at Mindful Play ABA in NW OKC. We are currently seeking Interns and BCBAs to add to our growing team.

True connection happens when we meet kids right where they are-in the middle of a Lego pile, sharing ideas, and creating something together. Through play, we build trust, confidence, and meaningful social connections that last a lifetime.

Our incredible CEO Dr. Nicolle Carr was recently featured in The Journal Record to discuss a topic incredibly close to our hearts: expanding access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for Oklahoma families impacted by autism.

At Mindful Play ABA, our mission has always been to break down barriers and provide high-quality, compassionate care to the kiddos and families who need it most. Seeing our leadership spearhead this conversation on a statewide level is incredibly inspiring.

Learning looks a lot like playing around here!!
In ABA therapy, we use play-based learning to build communication, foster independence, and strengthen social skills. But just as importantly, it helps our RBTs build a strong bond (we call it "pairing") with each child. When therapy is rooted in fun and trust, the breakthroughs come naturally!
