Just because something is common doesn't mean it's normal. 👇
How many of these have you experienced?
💧 Waking up with a dry mouth
👄 Keeping your mouth open while watching TV
😬 Clenching your jaw throughout the day
😴 Snoring every night
These habits are incredibly common—but they can also be clues that your body is compensating for something deeper.
Your body is designed to:
✨ Breathe through your nose
✨ Rest with your lips together
✨ Sleep without snoring
✨ Keep your jaw relaxed during the day
When those things aren't happening, it's worth asking why instead of assuming it's "just the way I am."
As a myofunctional therapist, I help uncover the root cause behind these patterns—not just manage the symptoms. Better breathing can lead to better sleep, more energy, less jaw pain, fewer headaches, and improved overall health.
👉 Swipe through and tell me...which one surprised you the most?

**POV:** Me preparing to talk about helping women reclaim their energy... 🎥🍿

Because being exhausted isn't your personality.

If you're surviving on caffeine, crashing every afternoon, waking up tired, dealing with brain fog, headaches, jaw pain, or feeling like you've "lost yourself"… your body is trying to tell you something.

I love connecting the dots that others often miss:
✨ Sleep quality
✨ Airway health
✨ Tongue function
✨ Nutrition & blood sugar
✨ Hormones
✨ Stress & nervous system regulation

When we address the *root cause* instead of masking symptoms, everything changes.

Watching women go from simply getting through the day to actually feeling energized, sleeping better, and enjoying life again is why I do what I do.

You deserve more than just "making it through the day."

💬 Tell me: What's the biggest thing draining your energy right now?

07/31/2026

You don't have to accept feeling exhausted as your "normal."

If you wake up tired, rely on caffeine to get through the day, struggle with brain fog, or feel like your energy disappears by mid-afternoon, your body may be trying to tell you something.

Poor sleep isn't just about how many hours you're in bed. It can be connected to **how you breathe, how your jaw functions, your tongue posture, airway health, stress, hormones, nutrition, and so much more.**

The good news? There is hope. 💙

I've had the privilege of helping so many clients who thought they would "always be tired" finally wake up feeling rested, breathe easier, have more energy, and feel like themselves again.

You deserve to know *why* you're not sleeping well—not just be told to "get more sleep."

If you're ready to get to the root cause instead of masking symptoms, I'd love to help.

✨ Better sleep is possible.
✨ More energy is possible.
✨ Feeling like yourself again is possible.

Save this reel if you needed the reminder that things can get better, and share it with someone who could use a little hope today.

🥂 **Think alcohol helps you sleep? Think again.**

A glass of wine or a cocktail may make you feel sleepy... but **feeling sleepy isn't the same as getting restorative sleep.**

Here's what alcohol actually does:

😴 It may help you fall asleep faster...
❌ But it reduces deep sleep and REM sleep—the stages your brain and body need most for recovery.

As the alcohol wears off during the night, you're more likely to:
• Wake up frequently
• Snore more
• Experience worse sleep apnea
• Breathe through your mouth
• Grind or clench your teeth
• Wake up feeling groggy—even after 8 hours in bed

If you're dealing with:
➡️ Chronic fatigue
➡️ Jaw pain or TMJ
➡️ Morning headaches
➡️ Brain fog
➡️ Poor recovery from workouts
➡️ Mood changes
➡️ Trouble concentrating
..your evening drink may be playing a bigger role than you realize.

This doesn't mean you can never enjoy alcohol. It simply means understanding the trade-off. Even moderate amounts can negatively impact sleep quality, especially if consumed within a few hours of bedtime.

✨ Better sleep starts with looking beyond your bedtime routine. Breathing, airway health, tongue posture, nutrition, stress, and yes—even alcohol—can all influence how well you sleep.

Your body doesn't just need more sleep...
It needs **better** sleep.

✨ **Jaw pain and pelvic floor dysfunction... could they be connected?**

If you're struggling with **TMJ/TMD symptoms** like jaw pain, headaches, clenching, or clicking **AND** dealing with pelvic floor issues like leaking, pain, constipation, or pelvic tension—you may be surprised to learn they can be related.

Your body works as one interconnected system. The jaw, diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor are all linked through fascia, breathing patterns, posture, and your nervous system.

When your jaw is constantly clenched, your tongue isn't resting properly, or you're breathing through your mouth:
➡️ Your diaphragm may not function efficiently.
➡️ Your core muscles may lose coordination.
➡️ Your pelvic floor can become overactive, tight, or weak.

Likewise, dysfunction in the pelvis can create compensations that travel upward, affecting your neck, shoulders, and jaw.

💡 Common signs this connection may be affecting you:
• Chronic jaw pain or TMJ symptoms
• Teeth grinding or clenching
• Neck and shoulder tension
• Mouth breathing
• Headaches
• Urinary leakage
• Pelvic pain
• Constipation
• Pain with intimacy
• Low back pain

The good news? Addressing breathing, tongue posture, swallowing patterns, posture, and oral muscle function through **myofunctional therapy** can be an important piece of the puzzle. Many people also benefit from working alongside a pelvic floor physical therapist for a comprehensive, whole-body approach.

Your jaw and pelvic floor may seem worlds apart—but your body knows they're connected.

✨ Healing often starts by looking beyond the area that hurts.
