You don’t need to have everything figured out or the perfect words to explain what you’re feeling. Sometimes, you simply need a genuine, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, recognize your strengths, and begin taking meaningful steps forward.
That belief is at the heart of Ashlee Anderson’s work as a Temporarily Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ashlee earned her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University and is passionate about understanding people, their stories, and the experiences that shape their lives and relationships.
Ashlee works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship or family challenges. She also welcomes LGBTQ+ clients and supports individuals experiencing self-harm or suicidal ideation.
Using a collaborative, strengths-based approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ashlee helps clients explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, they can identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop practical ways to move toward greater hope, connection, and purpose. Ashlee believes therapy can include difficult conversations, tears, laughter, and celebrating the little wins that deserve more credit.
Outside of the clinic, Ashlee loves trying new coffee shops, reading thriller books, going on walks through the neighborhood, watching TV shows with her friends, and singing in the car with the windows down!
