Coordination is not only about sports or big movement. It shows up in the day-to-day things kids are expected to do all the time, like buttoning, zipping, getting dressed, and using both hands together in a smooth way.
Tasks like buttons take more than people realize. Kids need hand strength, finger control, timing, attention, and the ability to get both hands doing different jobs at once. When one of those pieces is harder, dressing can feel frustrating fast.
That is one of the reasons OT matters. We work on the smaller skills underneath the task so everyday routines start to feel easier and kids can do more on their own with less stress.
If getting dressed is still feeling harder than it should, send us a message.
