My decision is not to hide.

Hear me out, I won’t hide the difficult days. And the reason for that is because I believe this is how you know…. I know!!!

My birthday was yesterday. I was surrounded by love, quality time, intentional messages and gifts from my people!!!

Today…sadness hit. There was one phone call I didn’t receive. My Hunter 💜

And the impact is so hard and so HEAVY. It is in this time I am giving myself time by the water, music to comfort my heart and writing until my hand can’t.

Grief is sneaky and honestly indescribable.

Please know I share because so many of us have loss, have faced trauma and the pains that words won’t touch.

This is what affirms to me that what I do matters. The more we can be surrounded by others that are choosing to grow themselves intentionally! Yes! It makes a huge difference when life hits.

The systems and routines I have put into place is what helps. It is what can allow the light back into the darkness.

What a weekend. 💜

I have watched women laugh, try new things, get uncomfortable, create, reflect, encourage one another, see themselves differently and choose themselves in ways that are hard to explain in a caption.
This weekend was never about fixing anyone.

It was about creating space to notice.
To remember.
To be seen.
To listen to what keeps getting our attention.
And to ask what in our lives is truly worth fighting for.

Today, each woman is writing something for every other woman here. Words she has noticed. Strength she has seen. Something she hopes that woman never forgets about herself.
And watching that happen feels like the perfect picture of this weekend.
Sometimes we need someone else’s eyes to remind us of what is already there.

I am so grateful for these women, for the conversations, for the courage, for the laughter, for the tears, and for every little moment in between.

We still have more of this weekend ahead of us, but one thing is already very clear:
Some things are worth fighting for.
Including you.
