🎉❤️ TWO YEARS OF CARTER HEALTHCARE! ❤️🎉

Two years ago today, we opened our doors in Olive Hill with a lot of hope, a little bit of fear, and a BIG dream for what healthcare could look like in our hometown.

We wanted to build something different. A place where patients weren’t just a number or an appointment on the schedule. A place where we knew your name, knew your family, took the time to listen, and genuinely cared about the people who walked through our doors.

Over the last two years, YOU have allowed that dream to grow.❤️

We’ve added services we never imagined offering when we first opened. We’ve built an incredible team that feels more like family. We’ve celebrated wins, learned some hard lessons, worked through plenty of growing pains, and probably dreamed a little bigger than we should sometimes. 😂

But we wouldn’t change it.

There are days when we look around and can’t believe how much Carter Healthcare has grown in just two years.

And the most exciting part?

We’re not finished. Not even close. 😉

We have some pretty BIG dreams for Year 3. ❤️

For now, we just want to say THANK YOU, OLIVE HILL.

This morning, Kristin and Makendra had the honor of attending the Northeast Kentucky Small Business Awards Ceremony, and we are incredibly excited and grateful to share that Carter Healthcare was named the 2026 Healthcare Professional of the Year!❤️

We are truly humbled to have been nominated and selected for this award.

While Kristin and Charla’s names may be on the award, they both know that Carter Healthcare is what it is because of the incredible team they have built around them. Health officials have identified potential measles exposures in Richmond and Olive Hill, Kentucky. An unvaccinated, out-of-state traveler visited several establishments in these communities on August 24, August 27, and August 28, 2026.
Measles is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can cause serious health complications, especially in young children. Vaccination is the best protection against measles. Immunization against measles comes through the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

If you believe you may have been exposed to measles:
-Check your immunity: Verify if you have received the MMR vaccine or have medical proof of immunity.

-Monitor yourself for symptoms: watch for high fever, cough, runny nose, red, watery eyes, and a rash for 21 days following the exposure.

-Contact your health care provider: Call your doctor or the local health department immediately if you develop symptoms or have questions.

The Roast on Railroad is joining several other small businesses in raising money to support the Cody Stamper family! This family has been in our prayers for many months, & we want to be a blessing to them however we can!

This Saturday, August 29th, we are giving $1 per drink sold to Cody & his family. We will also have a special tip jar set aside for this cause! We can’t wait to see you on Saturday! 🫶🏼☕️
