We had a wonderful time at the Cancer Support Community’s Hope After Dark event, surrounded by people who share a passion for making a difference.

We’re especially proud of Joey, who serves on the board, helping support an organization that provides connection, encouragement, and support to those impacted by cancer.

At Private Home Care, we know the importance of community and the power of showing up for one another. We’re grateful for this partnership and proud to support the incredible work being done to bring hope to individuals and families when they need it most.

Diana and Sara recently had the opportunity to represent Private Home Care at the Home Care Association of America Conference in Orlando, and they came home with full hearts, new connections, and plenty of inspiration to share with our PHC team!

From an unforgettable keynote with Henry Winkler, who shared his powerful personal story and reminded us of the impact of perseverance, to Louie Gravance showing us how service truly can be a superpower, there was no shortage of meaningful moments and fresh ideas.

One of the most special moments was seeing this year’s Caregiver of the Year honored on stage. Celebrating the dedication and heart of caregivers across our industry is something we’re always proud to be a part of. And… we’re hoping to see one of our very own PHC caregivers taking that stage next year!

We’re already looking forward to next year! ✨

A few simple steps can help keep older adults safer and more confident on their feet:

💡 Light up hallways, stairs, and entryways
👟 Choose supportive, non-slip footwear
🛁 Add grab bars and non-slip mats where needed
🏡 Keep everyday essentials within easy reach

At Private Home Care, safety is more than a checklist. It’s part of providing compassionate care that helps our clients remain comfortable and independent at home.

Behind every diagnosis is a person and behind every person is a family, a support system, and a story.

This month, we’re honoring those who have faced breast cancer, celebrating survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and recognizing the caregivers and loved ones who walk alongside them.💗

At Private Home Care, we’re especially grateful for the caregivers who show up day after day with patience, compassion, and strength. Whether they are professional caregivers, family members, friends, or loved ones, their support can make an incredible difference throughout the journey.

Early detection, support, and compassion matter.

Let’s keep the conversation going, encourage the women we love to prioritize their health, and remind one another that no one has to face a difficult season alone.🎀

A big shoutout to Joey for creating another opportunity for residents to connect, socialize, and stay active!

Joey and Jerry are taking on the Billiards Club at the Lumiere every Monday morning at 10:30 AM. What started as a little pool and practice is also becoming a great way for residents to get together, enjoy some friendly competition, and spend time with one another.

Socialization and meaningful interaction are such an important part of staying engaged, active, and connected—and sometimes all it takes is a little friendly competition to get the conversation going.

If you're a resident, come join Joey and Jerry for a game! And if you know a resident who might enjoy some pool, conversation, and camaraderie, bring them down and introduce them to the group.
