September Making Memories Tailgate Party!

The culinary staff really put out a spread-all things tailgate x 10⭐️, Island Troy entertained us, the frozen margarita machine was flowing, our friend Kathy Duttry provided us with her blue ribbon winning cookies from the Lorain county fair, family and friends joined in on the fun, and the sun shined down on us on this beautiful afternoon!!! A big thank you to Yvonne Wolters, Chief Compliance Officer at Southwest General Hospital for giving great tips to our lunch and learn guests about HIPAA privacy laws and how to keep our medical records safe when using today’s technology.
Thank you to everyone that joined us-we’re so grateful for the opportunity to come together, learn, and enjoy a great lunch!

We had a little session this morning we are calling, “Making Dirt Pudding with The Dudes!” No girls aloud, except for Chef Stephanie of course!

Chef put together a little cooking session this week just for the guys. They had to glove up, crush the Oreo cookies with various tools from the tool box, lay out the serving cups and count them, scoop the pudding into the cups, then top with the crushed cookies. They all did so good!

Best part of course was TASTE TESTING the final project!!! They originally were not excited when we told them they were cooking, but in the end we won them over!!

Wednesday afternoon music and Culinary Delights.

North Olmsted Walmart provided us with a variety of sweet treats, the culinary staff made vanilla milkshakes drizzled with raspberry syrup, and talented ladies of the “Treble Makers” provided us with fantastic entertainment!

A HUGE Thank You to those who continually support our residents and staff!

This week is Assisted Living Week and our friends at North Olmsted Walmart sent all of our residents and staff an amazing variety of sweet treats for our afternoon celebration. 🥧 Cypress Hospice was so kind to send a coffee truck out to our community to treat the staff with a little morning caffeine pick-me-up. ☕️
Reserve Care provided the staff with a trail mix bar to make personal sized snack bags to keep the energy up throughout the day. 😊

Everyone is so appreciated for the efforts they took to make us feel special.
