🌭 Can You Cut the Mustard? 🌭

This afternoon we put our taste buds to the test with “Can You Cut the Mustard?”, a fun condiment tasting challenge! 👅🎉

We sampled 12 different condiments, ranging from classic ketchup all the way to chocolate sauce, and everyone had to put their taste buds and guessing skills to work to figure out what they were tasting. Some were easy to recognize, while others definitely had us guessing! 😋

Along the way, we talked about our favorite condiments, shared memories of foods we enjoyed over the years, and even discussed how our taste buds and food preferences can change as we get older. A few favorite recipes were shared too!

It was an afternoon full of laughter, conversation, and delicious surprises. Who knew condiments could create so much fun? 💙

This afternoon was full of energy, laughter, and friendly competition during our Co****le Tournament! 🎯💙

Everyone took their turn tossing bean bags, aiming for the board, and hoping to score enough points to claim the championship. The room was filled with cheers, encouragement, and plenty of smiles as residents rooted each other on.

Congratulations to Les, our champion today! 🏆 They earned the trophy and will proudly hold onto the title until our next tournament. It was another wonderful afternoon of fun, friendship, and making memories together here at Brookstone Estates!

There is something truly special about the joy and comfort these wonderful therapy animals bring to our residents. From wagging tails and gentle cuddles to warm smiles and heartfelt conversations, our morning was filled with happiness and love.

Today, we had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating National Root Beer Float Day in the most delightful way possible: by hosting our very own Root Beer Float Social! 🍨💙

It was such a joy to see everyone coming together to indulge in this timeless, classic sweet treat. We spent the afternoon sharing genuine laughs, engaging in wonderful conversations, and basking in the warmth of great company. Seeing so many bright, smiling faces while we enjoyed this nostalgic beverage was truly heartwarming.

This beautiful afternoon, we were absolutely thrilled and delighted to enjoy the truly wonderful musical performance provided by the talented Jim & Charlotte Lovings! 🎶💙

Their captivating show had us all tapping our toes, joyfully singing along, and happily reminiscing as they filled our entire room with so many familiar, cherished favorites. Live music always possesses such a special, unique way of bringing all our residents together, and today was certainly no exception to that rule.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to Jim and Charlotte for sharing your incredible gifts and bringing so much genuine joy to our community. We loved every single song and look forward to welcoming you back to Brookstone Estates again soon! 😊

Yesterday afternoon we had a wonderful time at our monthly Community BINGO, hosted by Ashley with Transitions Hospice Care! 🎉💙

We always enjoy Ashley's energy and enthusiasm, and she made the afternoon so much fun! From exciting BINGO games and fantastic prizes to delicious treats, everyone had a wonderful time filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great company.

A heartfelt thank you to Ashley and Transitions Hospice Care for hosting another fantastic Community BINGO. We also want to thank everyone who came out and spent the afternoon with us!

This afternoon, we gathered for our highly anticipated monthly Co****le Tournament, and let me tell you, the level of competition was absolutely fierce! 🎯🏆 The atmosphere was electric, filled with endless laughter, spirited cheering, and plenty of lighthearted, friendly ribbing throughout the matches. Every participant brought their absolute best toss to the boards, and it was truly wonderful to see everyone supporting and encouraging one another. A massive congratulations goes out to our incredible champion today, Les! You have earned the title and definitely deserve to enjoy all those bragging rights until our next big showdown. 👏💙 It was such a delightful afternoon of community, competition, and cherished memories here at Brookstone Estates!

This afternoon was full of music, refreshing drinks, and plenty of smiles here at Brookstone Estates! 🎶🍋💙

We enjoyed live music by the wonderful Brad Darr while sipping on refreshing lemonade from our Lemonade Bar, generously provided by Empower Me Physical Therapy. Residents could choose from regular, strawberry, or blueberry lemonade—something for everyone!

With toes tapping, voices singing along, and plenty of laughter throughout the afternoon, it was the perfect way to spend time together. A huge thank you to Brad Darr and the wonderful ladies from Empower Me for helping make our afternoon so special! 😊
