Same 100 calories can do different jobs in your body.

Salmon and cookies can both come in at 100 calories, but that number doesn't tell the whole story. Protein-dense foods like salmon help build and maintain muscle and tend to keep you full longer. Foods higher in sugar and refined carbs digest fast, which can mean you're hungry again sooner.

Neither one has to disappear from your plate. It just helps to know what each one is actually doing once it's in your system, especially if you're working toward a specific goal.

Did you know someone in the US has a stroke every 40 seconds?
Most people think they'd recognize it right away. But the signs can be subtle, and the difference between a good recovery and a tragic outcome often comes down to minutes.
There's a simple word that can help you remember what to look for. It's called BE FAST, and it could help you save someone's life.
Save this post. Share it with someone you care about.

Have you or someone you know ever recognized a stroke in the moment? We'd love to hear your story in the comments.
