In early parenthood, it’s normal for everyday tasks to start piling up. This can add to the overwhelm of the day to day and leave you feeling drained, overstretched, and overwhelmed. I always encourage people to try to simplify where they can: maybe that’s accepting help from a family member or friend, writing down tasks on a white board that people can help with when they come to visit the new baby, or even hiring quality, affordable help.
