The Society and the State Medical Association act as liaisons between organized medicine and the South Sound community. They represent local physicians before county, city, state and federal groups, elected official

The Society and the WSMA give you a voice in the legislative and policymaking process in Olympia and Washington, DC. Effective lobby and legal staff work hard on your behalf on policy and regulatory processes confronting medicine today. Education

Membership Events
The Society hosts several membership events throughout the year, including:
• Formal charitable fundraising dinner to support charities in Thurston and Mason counties
• Member and non-member social/outreach events with informational
