Today we’re saying goodbye to someone who has become such an important part of our team. 💙

Congratulations to Hope on graduating with her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Pacific University! 🎓

Over the past year, it has been a privilege to mentor Hope as she completed her fourth-year residency with us at Complete Hearing & Balance. She has impressed us every day with her compassion, clinical skills, curiosity, and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.

While we’re sad to see her head back to Oregon to begin this exciting new chapter in her career, we couldn’t be more proud of everything she has accomplished. We know she is going to make an incredible difference in the lives of her patients and become an outstanding audiologist.

Thank you, Hope, for your hard work, your kindness, and the positive impact you’ve had on our team. We will miss you so much, but we can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish.

And we couldn’t be more excited!

Our new Chehalis clinic is making great progress. The roof is on, the walls are framed, and the plumbing is underway. Every visit to the job site makes this dream feel a little more real.

We’re building more than just a clinic—we’re creating a welcoming space where our Chehalis community can receive exceptional hearing and balance care for years to come.

✨ Meet Luke Pickar, Au.D.✨

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Luke Pickar to our practice!

Dr. Pickar earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from Western Washington University after completing his bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

What makes Dr. Pickar’s story especially meaningful is that his passion for audiology began as a patient himself. After frequent childhood visits to ENT and audiology clinics due to ear infections, he discovered firsthand the impact compassionate healthcare providers can have. Although he originally planned to pursue computer science, he found his true calling in audiology through the human connection the profession offers.

Dr. Pickar is dedicated to providing patient-centered hearing care that helps people reconnect with their loved ones and the moments that matter most. He finds great joy in seeing how better hearing improves communication, confidence, and quality of life.

A Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Pickar and his wife are excited to be settling into the South Sound—and preparing to welcome a new puppy to their family this summer! Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, reading, and listening to music.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Pickar on our team and can’t wait for our patients to get to know him. Dr. Pickar is currently seeing patients in our Lacey, Olympia, and Yelm clinics!
