Krista Petrovich brings genuine heart to her work every single day as a Housekeeper at Fieldstone of Olympia. "What draws me to stay is the rewarding feeling of creating a clean and comfortable space for the residents,” she expressed. “When I overhear them talking about how clean it is, I always feel happy."

Fieldstone is Krista's first job in senior living, and this role stood out to her because she wanted to serve seniors.

"I have always loved cleaning, and there's no better people to clean for than people who may struggle to do it themselves or people who have worked hard for decades and deserve a break!"

Krista finds joy in getting to know the residents. When one resident moved in, Krista noticed he seemed quiet. But after striking up a conversation about rock music and cats from his apartment decor, he lit up and became very talkative!

That's the Fieldstone difference: small moments of connection make our senior living community live up to its mission of creating a joyful and vibrant community.

August 3rd we celebrated National Watermelon Day with a watermelon eating contest, a chicken watermelon salad for our daily special, and lots of watermelon jokes and trivia too! It was a wonderful, fun and hydrating experience celebration! 🍉
