💗 Our CHI St Alexius rehab team wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to honor those facing a diagnosis, celebrate survivors and remember loved ones.

As therapists, we know recovery is personal. Rehabilitation therapy can help people prepare for surgery -- and regain movement, strength and independence afterward -- with care tailored to their treatment and recovery.

And behind that care are the people who listen, offer encouragement and recognize how much an everyday accomplishment can mean. 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

October may be known for pumpkins and all things orange, but our Dumas Physical Therapy team is adding a little pink to raise awareness and show support for those affected by breast cancer.

Our team wore pink today to raise breast cancer awareness and honor the people and families affected by it. 💗

We’re thinking of those in treatment, celebrating with survivors and remembering loved ones who are deeply missed.

As a therapy team, we also know that support can include helping people regain strength, movement and comfort during and after cancer treatment.

To everyone in our community facing breast cancer, we’re sending encouragement and hope for the journey ahead.
