Please join us in celebrating the incredible career of Curt Coughlin as he officially retires after 43 years of dedicated service to The Lions Eye Bank of Nebraska. As our Operations and Compliance Director, his expertise and leadership have guided our commitment to excellence in our mission to provide restored sight. Curt served on The Eye Bank Association of America's Accreditation Board for 13 years and on Live On Nebraska's Advisory Board for 4 years. Curt has performed over 109 laboratory corneal excisions, over 288 enucleation procedures, 180 in-situ corneal recoveries, 1125 DSEK and 398 DMEK corneal processing preparations, and taken countless hours of call throughout his career. We will miss his guidance, support, friendship, and Seinfeld quotes.😊 Curt, we deeply appreciate all that you have done for our organization, and we wish you all the best on your well-earned retirement!!
