There’s a mystery to solve… BIG EMOTIONS! 💛💚💙
Join us for a FREE, fun, play-based group for kids ages 7–10 where we’ll turn feelings into clues and help kids build skills to better understand, express, and manage their emotions.
Through detective-themed games and playful activities, kids will practice identifying emotions, discovering what their feelings are telling them, building coping and calming skills, and strengthening social-emotional confidence—all while having plenty of fun!

🧡 We’re Growing! Play Therapy Omaha is Hiring an Occupational Therapist! 🧡

Big things are happening at Play Therapy Omaha, and we’d love to welcome a new Occupational Therapist (OT) to our team!

We’re looking for a passionate, playful, and collaborative OT who loves working with children, teens, and families and believes in supporting the whole child through developmentally appropriate, relationship-focused care. 🌱

✨ And the exciting part? An existing caseload is available!

As part of our growing team, you’ll have:
🧡 The flexibility of a contracted (1099) position
🧡 An existing caseload with onboarding support
🧡 Administrative support including credentialing, billing, and scheduling
🧡 Strong referral streams within an established private practice
🧡 A collaborative, supportive, multidisciplinary environment
🧡 High earning potential — $100,000+

A group for middle school girls who want a place to be themselves, make connections, and talk about the stuff that's actually happening in their lives.

Whether your freshly going in, or freshly leaving, we can all learn a little bit of something from each other. We'll cover friendships, confidence, communication, stress, boundaries, and all the ups and downs of being a middle schooler—while playing games, doing fun activities, and getting to know each other.

A few words from Alexis:

"I don't know about you *yet*, but being a human is tricky!! Full of twists and turns, ups and downs, and when the occasional clearing or common ground hits... it's gone the next. And in my opinion that's the hardest part - sometimes the only constant thing in our lives is change.

My goal as a counselor is to help others (and frankly, myself) be a consistent flexible force in our own lives. My approach combines authenticity, curiosity, and a genuine belief that every person already has strengths worth building on. With over a decade of experience supporting children and families, a background collaborating alongside Occupational Therapists, and formal training in mind-body philosophies including yoga, I take a holistic approach to counseling that honors the connection between thoughts, emotions, and the body.

Because no two people are the same, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves! Whether through creativity, conversation, or skill-building, I hope you leave feeling courageously capable and content.

Whether your child needs support navigating big emotions, your teen is feeling stuck, or you're a young adult trying to make sense of life's current chapter, I'd be honored to walk, boogey, or simply just sit alongside you."
