Don’t Ignore the Little Aches
That occasional stiff neck. The shoulder that always feels tight. The low back that aches after sitting all day.
It’s easy to brush these things off when they aren’t severe—but recurring discomfort can be your body’s way of telling you that something needs attention.
Small aches can be influenced by things like:
• Repetitive movements
• Prolonged sitting
• Posture and positioning
• Muscle tension
• Changes in activity or exercise
Ignoring the discomfort doesn’t always make the underlying cause go away. Sometimes, what starts as an occasional ache can become a more persistent problem when the contributing factors aren’t addressed.
One of the most useful things you can do is pay attention to patterns:
When does it happen?
What makes it better or worse?
How often does it come back?
Your body gives you information. Learning to recognize those early signals can be an important part of staying well.
