Adjustability meets thoughtful, custom fabrication. 🦿

Our team recently fabricated this CJ Sail Adjustable Socket featuring adjustable technology from CJ Socket Technologies and Click Medical.

Residual-limb volume can fluctuate throughout the day, changing how a prosthetic socket fits and feels. Adjustable-volume socket designs give appropriately selected patients a way to fine-tune their fit as those changes occur.

A newly published randomized clinical trial compared three adjustable-volume socket designs—including the CJ design—with a traditional laminated socket. Researchers found comparable performance across the socket types for balance, balance confidence, falls, stumbles, and functional balance testing.

We’re proud to bring innovative options like this to our patients while carefully considering each person’s anatomy, goals, comfort, activity, and clinical needs.
