FUN IN THE SUN AT SUNRIDGE VILLAGE!

Sunridge Village Independent Living Retirement Community kicked off Nebraska Football season with a Pre-Tailgate Party filled with great food, big red spirit, and plenty of laughter!

The festivities began with hot dogs fresh off the grill, complete with all the trimmings and delicious sides, served in our beautiful courtyard. Colorful umbrellas provided plenty of shade from the midday sun, while cold beverages helped everyone stay cool and hydrated.

Then it was time to move to the front of the building, where residents eagerly lined up for their chance to drop our maintenance man, Patrick, into the dunk tank!

There were plenty of good throws—and lots of splashes! Let’s just say Patrick was looking a little like a prune by the end of the day!

Laughter filled the building, Big Red spirit filled the community, and everyone had a fantastic time celebrating together.

Making a Splash at Sunridge Village!

There’s no better way to cool off from the summer heat than with an Under the Sea Party!

We kicked off the tropical fun at Sunridge Village Retirement Community with a refreshing Seaside Fizz cocktail, along with w**e and b**r, then turned up the island vibes with the bubbly, energetic music of Kim Ames!

With the temperatures soaring outside, we decided to stay cool indoors—and what better way to beat the heat than with a fun game of Music Bingo!

Our residents at Sunridge Village had a fantastic time playing Music Bingo with Elliott. Everyone enjoyed listening to some of their favorite tunes while competing for an assortment of prizes. Everyone playing wins a big prize with their first BINGO—because who doesn't love shouting, "BINGO!"

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, singing along, and friendly competition throughout the afternoon. It was a wonderful way to stay cool, stay active, and make great memories together. What a fun day at Sunridge Village!

Sunridge Village Retirement Community recently welcomed Dan Reynolds for our 5th Annual Summer Concert. A well-known local musician and talented Neil Diamond vocal impressionist, Dan is always a favorite at Sunridge Village as he pays tribute to the "King of Diamonds." The Show Must Go On!

Sunridge Village Retirement Community recently hosted our 5th Annual Summer Outdoor Concert. While Mother Nature had other plans—bringing more than an inch of rain—we quickly switched to Plan B and moved the celebration indoors!

This year's musical guest, Dan Reynolds, had residents and their guests singing along and dancing in their chairs with a wonderful variety of songs. One of the biggest highlights was everyone joining in for Neil Diamond's classic, "Sweet Caroline."

Even the rainy weather couldn't stop the fun! The Kona Ice truck still rolled in, serving up delicious summer treats with flavors ranging from Blue Raspberry and Root B**r Float to Piña Colada and Daiquiri.

Rain or shine, the smiles, music, and memories kept coming. Because at Sunridge Village, the show must go on!

Sunridge Village Outing to JDubs Hangout & Jilian's Produce

What a wonderful day we had on our outing yesterday! Our residents enjoyed a delicious lunch at JDubs Hangout in Bennington, where the food and friendly atmosphere made for a great start to the day.

After lunch, we headed over to Jilian's Produce Farmers Market at 156th & Fort Street to shop for some of the freshest local produce around. Residents had a great time picking out juicy Black Diamond watermelons, vine-ripened tomatoes, sweet sweet corn, fresh peaches, and many other seasonal favorites.

There were plenty of smiles, great conversations, and lots of wonderful memories made along the way. It was a fabulous day spent enjoying good food, fresh produce, and even better company. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we're already looking forward to our next adventure!

What a wonderful day with our Sunridge Village residents! On July 8th, we took a scenic drive to The Tipsy Pig in Tekamah for lunch, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the onion rings were truly to die for!

After lunch, we walked right next door to browse an antique and collectibles mall filled with new and vintage treasures. Everyone had a great time exploring the unique finds, sharing stories, and enjoying the afternoon together.

Beautiful weather, great food, fun shopping, and even better company—it's days like these that create lasting memories. We can't wait for our next adventure!

When it's too hot to be outside, we bring the fun indoors! 🎈🏐

Our residents at Sunridge Village had an absolute blast playing Balloon Volleyball with friends. There were lots of laughs, great rallies, and plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed some friendly competition.

After working up an appetite, we headed to the coffee shop to cool off with a delicious Ice Cream Social! 🍦 It was the perfect way to beat the heat and spend time together with friends.

Sunridge Village Annual Garden Party 🌿🌼

We brought the garden indoors for this year’s Annual Garden Party, transforming the atrium with colorful flowerpots, fluttering butterflies, and bright orange umbrellas suspended from the windows to create a vibrant summer atmosphere.

Residents enjoyed the melodic sounds of summer performed by Pam Kragt while gathering with friends. A delicious dinner was served, along with a variety of refreshing cocktails, making for a wonderful evening of great food, music, and community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event such a memorable celebration of the season!

Sunridge Village residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch outing to the famous Alpine Inn, known not only for its delicious fried chicken but also for its unique wildlife experience. Guests were treated to the sight of raccoons and other animals gathering outside the windows to enjoy the chicken scraps, making for a memorable dining experience.

The food was outstanding, and the scenic drive through the beautiful Ponca Hills was just as enjoyable. To top off the afternoon, we made a stop at Dodge Park to take in the impressive view of the Missouri River and see just how high the water level was. It was a fantastic day filled with great food, beautiful scenery, and wonderful company!
