How is SMILE different from LASIK? Both reshape the cornea to correct nearsightedness, but they get there differently.

LASIK uses two lasers and creates a corneal flap. SMILE uses one laser and a tiny incision about four millimeters wide, with no flap lifted at all.

Does crying affect your ICL? 😭 No.

It's all about placement.

A regular contact lens sits on the surface of your eye, so a good cry can shift it around. The EVO ICL sits *inside* your eye, behind the iris. Your tears stay out on the surface where they belong. They never reach the lens.
