To continue our participation in the May Fitness Challenge for Cedarhurst Senior Living, we celebrated the birthday of Liberace! We showed off our own dramatic flair today by using our colorful scarves and moved along while enjoying one of his concerts during exercise time. Happy Cinco de Mayo! We had such a fun celebration today enjoying fresh guacamole and salsa—so delicious! Then we put our senses to the test with a “guess the spice” activity using just our sense of smell. It sparked wonderful conversations as everyone reminisced about the spices they used in their kitchens over the years and shared memories of their favorite Mexican restaurants around Omaha.
