💜 Shining a Light in Chicago 💜

This past weekend, our very own Jennifer Moffett laced up and walked through the night at The Overnight in Chicago, and we couldn’t be prouder! ✨🫶

The Overnight is AFSP’s signature 16 to 18 mile journey from dusk until dawn, where thousands of walkers come together to raise awareness and funds for su***de prevention. Walking through the darkness and emerging into the light as the sun rises symbolizes hope, healing, and a community united in this cause. Luminaria bags line the route, each one honoring a life and reminding every walker that they are not alone. 💙

Jennifer, thank you for showing up, walking the miles, and carrying the message of hope every step of the way.

You represented AFSP Nebraska beautifully!

June is and starting today, it is ! 🗓️ This is the perfect time to take a step back and reflect on how we can better support mental health and su***de prevention among men.

Reach out to the men in your life and check in on them. Reassure them that it’s okay to have a hard time, that they’re never alone, and that help is always available. Let’s look out for each other through both the good times and the hard times. 💙
