We wish Jen the happiest of birthdays today!


Jen has provided therapy to individuals and families for the past twenty years. She grew up in a single-parent home and, being the middle of eight children, she feels she has a natural ability to help others. Jen holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner specializing in the areas of trauma, grief, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, depression, relationships and personal growth. Jen’s approach in therapy is to work from a client-centered, strength based and mind/body/spirit perspective. She uses a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Systems Theory. Jen is a Level 2 trained EMDR provider. She understands that every person is distinctly different, can learn resilience, navigate change.

Felina specializes in supporting individuals navigating trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and anxiety, as well as those carrying the emotional weight that so often ties into physical health. She believes lasting change happens when mental and physical health are addressed together. With a collaborative approach, Felina empowers her clients to be the narrators of their own stories, providing the tools, guidance, and encouragement to help them reach their goals.
