Located within New Cassel Retirement Center, Franciscan Adult Day Center offers daytime support services for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, dementia or other special needs. Monday through Friday 7am-6pm.

We are excited to announce and please welcome Melanie to her new role as our Franciscan Adult Day Center Director!

Melanie is a native of Omaha Nebraska. Her career began with the Omaha Public School System. From there, her career took her to Lincoln Financial Group where she spent 26 years in various Underwriting positions, including Underwriting Leadership. Melanie’s passion is helping people to feel heard respected, supported and cared for has always been at the heart of what she’s done and continues to do.

Beyond her professional career, she has found purpose in volunteering in the community, as well as providing in-home personal care offering respite support to individuals and families who need an extra hand. These experiences have deepened her compassion, patience and simply being available for others through service.

Melanie is a proud parent of two adult children, a son Timothy and a daughter, Teylor, who have taught her so much about love, patience, resilience, and the importance of family. Melanie is also an avid sports fan and follows most major sports. Her favorite teams are the Huskers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers (close second)

Franciscan Adult Day Center offers daytime support services for adults diagnosed with Alzheimer's, dementia or other special needs. Monday through Friday 7am-6pm.

The car show was absolutely amazing! There was so much reminiscing, classic cars, and classic music that brought back so many wonderful memories. Thank you to our Life Enrichment team and volunteers for serving root beer floats and popcorn. Great time!!
