Our residents enjoyed a wonderful performance by Mark Irvin with Merrymakers Association, filling the room with smiles, toe-tapping, sparking memories and great music. Our Life Enrichment team served refreshments. We look forward to our monthly Merrymakers performers.

Our residents and Franciscan Adult Day Center participants enjoyed pet therapy with Wendy and her pets, Buttons the dog and Bella the rabbit. Good times.

Thanks to our New Cassel Foundation, we received a grant for the Creative Aging Art Program. Through this six week program we have an instructor teaching residents unique skills through different projects. Last week we are working on Gel Plates to make a mixed media image like a vase of flowers, a bird, or a beautiful landscape.

Darryl Fisher gave the veterans a free ride in a World War II-era Boeing Stearman biplane, including 100-year-old Ted Monroe Mills, who fought for his country during the war.
